Leap of Faith

It feels like a seismic effort to balance the calendar with both the stars aligning and the seasons changing.  Leap Year harnesses all of this.  It signifies the massive effort we manage daily in our own lives as we make our plans and our plans change.  We have the days that make us and the days that break us.  If we can learn anything from this day, we have to make space for realignment.  However big or small, we must find our center because if we don’t, we will stay off course.

We break all of the rules for the calendar we follow every year for today.   This day will literally disappear until the next reckoning four years from now, so let today represent a clean slate or a chance to catch our breath.

It’s a day intentionally designed to make things right.  

This is your chance.  However leap year strikes you, take the leap of faith necessary to line up all of the pieces of you and look at them closely.  Combine your cosmic glory with your grounding faith because they go together.  Know it is way more than luck that brought you this far.
