It seems wild to think we have been in operation 11 years.  I have been going down memory lane recently. We originally rented a space downtown inside a juvenile intervention facility from 2014-2018. Our goal was to build opportunities for second chances in employment, which started Sweet LaLa’s Bakery.  In 2019, we opened our brick and mortar store which continues to grow relationships with social enterprises to promote our 901 community.  Lives have changed in big ways and a bigger story has been built over time.  For 8 years in Regalia, our retail location, we have made a deliberate choice to plant in the city center.  We built a place you can count on – to host your coffee conversations, take a visitor to shop local, or to create an event to remember. Our 901 community is strong and connected.  It is our hope we can be here for your every day needs.   This mission is so important to us we have created another neighborhood opportunity – Second Helpings Cafe.  It’s tough to weather not just winter days, but slow days and changing prices and so much more. However, Make Life Sweeter was our motto and Gather for Good has been our new hope.  We want our places to become your favorite places to enjoy.  Come shop local and see what we are doing. Help us tell our story and we want to hear your story.  Many of you have chosen our bakery for your wedding, for your birthdays, for your gift giving and more.
