We Won!

For all of the slowness that summer is supposed to bring, the hustle of fall is real.  Back to emails, back to meetings, back to school.  It’s a daily dose of playing catch up for many of us.  However, the daily dose of the grind produced a lot for us to celebrate in July.  Our bakery WON the iced ChampionSip put on by Edible Memphis.  We created a simple but delicious drink after our famous Lemon Cookie called the Glazed Lemon Latte.  It hit strong with our customers.  Many called it their new favorite and many requested it becomes a staple on our menu.   

We hear you and we thank you for this big honor!

It’s also important to take a few minutes to look back on our summer because we had a lot of support to fill in the slow days we see in the store.  We are incredibly grateful for our new partnerships:  Joy Life 901 Cafe held pop ups all through the month of July.  Memphis Pizza Cafe Park Avenue location began carrying our cookies and krispy treats.  Thanks to their customers, they increased their orders.  Central BBQ East Memphis and Southaven locations have been refreshed and updated with new products like cupcakes and cinnamon rolls.   We also want to give a big shout out to our existing partners Miss Cordelia’s, City and Silo and Novel.  Our summers depend on this steady stream of baking for your outlets and we are thankful.   

One final huge haul over many of you have witnessed is the creation of a packaging center in our store.  Thanks to this very generous company and their talented team at Organized Advantage, we were the beneficiaries of transforming our bakery in virtually every area to reclaim much needed space. They helped us  put order to our work plan and we are putting the finishing touches on the station this month.  We ship beautiful, personalized cookies, gift boxes and baskets all over the country.
